The Journey Behind the Practice
Driven by experience. Dedicated to personalized care.
The professional journey of Anne Marie Moore, WHNP-BC, MSCP—and the evolution of a patient-first medical home.
To understand the philosophy of this practice, it helps to understand the path that led here. I am Anne Marie Moore, a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).
My career in women’s health spans decades, rooted in the belief that healthcare should be a supportive, unhurried partnership.
Long before I opened the doors to my current private practice, I gathered diverse clinical experience across the full spectrum of reproductive and life-stage healthcare. These foundational chapters shaped my clinical expertise, my deep empathy, and ultimately, my vision for a better medical model.
Empowering Full-Spectrum Care at Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon
My clinical journey includes years dedicated to high-volume, full-spectrum reproductive healthcare at Planned Parenthood. Working on the front lines of public health instilled in me a fierce commitment to patient autonomy, trauma-informed care, and non-judgmental medicine. There, I mastered complex contraceptive management, infection screening and treatment, and early pregnancy options, learning how to provide exceptionally precise clinical care to individuals from all walks of life.
The Sacred Space of the Birth Center
To deepen my understanding of natural biological rhythms and low-intervention wellness, I brought my nursing and practitioner expertise into the deeply nurturing environment of a community birth center. Immersed in the midwifery model of care, I supported families through the profound transformations of pregnancy, physiological birth, and the delicate postpartum period. This chapter deeply reinforced my respect for the body’s innate wisdom and taught me the art of holding space for patients during their most vulnerable and powerful life transitions.
Integrative Wellness at Holistic Health with Dr. Guiterrez
Recognizing that true wellness requires looking beyond standard symptom management, I had the privilege of practicing at Holistic Health alongside Dr. Gutierrez. This collaborative chapter allowed me to deeply integrate functional medicine principles with traditional gynecological care. Working in an integrative setting solidified my approach to analyzing the root causes of hormonal imbalances, gut health, and systemic inflammation, ensuring that my patients receive truly comprehensive, full-body wellness strategies.
A Long-Standing Presence in the Eugene Community
My journey as an independent practitioner is deeply woven into the local fabric of Eugene, Oregon. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of welcoming patients into a few distinct, nurturing spaces across town. For several years, my practice was nestled in the beautiful, historic Tamarack Building, a space known for its community-centric, healing atmosphere. As the practice evolved, I also spent a few wonderful years serving patients from a vibrant, accessible location in Downtown Eugene, continually adapting to best serve the women of our community.
Over Two Decades of Advanced Clinical Training
True comprehensive care requires an understanding of both the body and the mind. Over the course of my career, I have continually expanded my clinical toolkit by earning advanced degrees in fields that intersect with your well-being:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
from the University of Wyoming, solidifying my clinical foundation as a specialized Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Master’s in Counseling Psychology
from Lewis & Clark College, allowing me to bring a deeply therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to severe cyclical mood shifts like PMDD and life transitions like menopause.
Bachelor’s in Management of Human Resources
from George Fox College, giving me the foundational skills to eventually build and sustain an independent medical practice.
